After 12 years of wishing, countless IVF (ICSI) cycles and a miscarriage caused by molar pregnancy, I finally got my miracle baby in 2012! Now we are on a mission to make him a sibling to share childhood memories with.. but infertility is hell, no matter your point in the journey.

Forty in Fiji.. and other F words
Well, I turned 40 on holiday in Fiji a couple of weeks ago.
It would have been a wonderful way to reach a new milestone....
I made sure I did thanks dubliner.. & tried to deal with the disappointment later. You only get one 40th to celebrate. And I got to spend it with my wonderful hubby & beautiful miracle son. Trying to focus on the positives x
I have really enjoyed reading your blog. It's been helpful to cope with my own infertility journey. Wishing you all the best. If it's a 2nd child is what you really want then don't give yourself an end date to your journey (unless it becomes a financial burden). Miracles do happen.
Thank you Anon. So glad you've found my waffling helpful 😉 Planning to try again next month. It could well be our last go. Finances aside, it's just too consuming.. I want my life back! I hope you have plenty of luck x
